Today, we are excited to expand our business to include investing in ventures to support founders to become pillars of the industry. As such, we have created our $20m Moonvault Ventures War Chest which will be focused on investing and supporting projects at the application layer. To be clear, we are not investing just as a pureplay VC. At Moonvault, our main core business has been our trading operations as well as providing liquidity to crypto projects we are excited about. We think there are significant synergies with our core operations which could be a very powerful and additive growth driver for ventures and founders alike.    Why the application layer? We believe that value will ultimately accrue to this layer as the crypto space matures, similar to what we observed in the maturation of the internet (eg Meta, Google, accrue more value than any telco or bandwidth provider). One of the verticals that we are extremely excited about is perpetual DEXs. Trading is one of the core components of any financial system. Naturally, a decentralized financial system will require an efficient and effective way for users to exchange value. We strongly believe in a non-custodial solution for trading. Users should be able to always be in possession and control of their own assets, with trading being trustless and permissionless.
