There's so much for me to reflect on from 2023, but the one word that encapsulates my feelings at the end of this year is: gratitude. In the beginning of 2023, Kristina London and I discussed our goals for incorporating live music photography into Amplify Her Voice's work. We created a team of 6 wonderful photographers, all across the country, and covered over 40 shows and 4 festivals this year. Shout out to Morgan Winston, Tara Demers, Nadja Aumueller, Lily Ordunez, Ariel Goldberg, and Emerson Swoger for putting in the work and being so enthusiastic about our mission! We also launched our first photography program: Equal Exposure. Connecting women and non-binary photographers to full-time touring photographers for shadowing and mentorship opportunities, the pilot run of this program was a huge success. Thank you to Misterwives, Bishop Briggs, Matty Vogel, Kristina London, Jess George, Katie Myers, Liv Castro, and Ellie Doe-Demosse. And lastly, we teamed up with All Things Go for an AMAZING fourth year of partnership! On top of having a lineup filled with diverse, talented artists, the All Things Go team stays dedicated to working with community organizations, promoting equality in the music industry, and overall having a great time.
