    The traditional way of making paper involves several steps: 1. Gathering raw materials: Historically, materials like linen rags, cotton, hemp, or mulberry bark were used. In many cultures, plant fibers were the primary source. 2. Preparing the fibers: The raw materials are cleaned and then beaten into a pulp. This can be done manually using a mortar and pestle or by mechanical means in a beater. 3. Forming the paper sheet: The pulp is mixed with water to form a slurry. A mold and deckle (a frame with a screen) are dipped into the slurry, and the fibers are collected on the screen as the water drains away, forming a thin mat. 4. Pressing: The wet sheet of pulp is transferred to a felt or cloth and pressed to remove excess water and to flatten the sheet. 5. Drying: The pressed sheets are dried, traditionally by hanging or laying them flat in the sun or in a drying room. 6. Sizing: The dried sheets are often sized to improve their writing quality. Sizing materials, like gelatin or starch, are applied to the surface of the paper to reduce absorbency. 7. Finishing: The paper may be polished or calendered to give it a smooth finish, and then it is cut to the desired size. This process has been used for centuries across various cultures, from ancient China, where paper was first invented, to Europe and the Middle East..     When you speak in such a way that others love listening to you and listen in such a way that others love talking to you, it shows you value your team by actively listening to their concerns, feedback or suggestions. I often wonder why companies ask their employees for feedback when, repeatedly, they never listen to what their employees are saying. When you take the time to listen to someone, really take the time to listen; it shows you value the person. Listening is a core aspect of leadership; many people in leadership positions don't listen. They may be hearing, but they don't really listen. To become an effective leader, close your mouth sometimes and truly listen to your team because great leaders recognize that knowledge and wisdom are not gained by talking but by listening.
