✨ Women's Equality Day Observance ✨ NAVSUP Headquarters hosted guest speaker, Lt. Col. Amanda Harrah, onboard Naval Support Activity Mechanicsburg, to celebrate Women's Equality Day which was held earlier this week. Harrah's presentation was centered around women's peace and security. She is a member of the Pennsylvania National Guard and has spent time in the Army civil affairs community across the globe helping women and children connect with their personal power, to feel confident to protect themselves, their families and their countries. She left the audience with a challenge to get involved to help shape their own environments by having conversations, seeking mentorship or volunteering. Lt. Col. Harrah also works at NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support Weapon Systems Support where she serves as the command inspector general. #WomensEqualityDay

CY 2025 Training With Industry (TWI) New Opportunity Flash from the Commander, Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) and Chief of Supply Corps 23 AUG 2024 I am pleased to announce we will start sending TWI fellows to Amazon (Seattle, WA) starting next year. Amazon is one of the world’s most dynamic and entrepreneurial technology companies and will give select fellows a rare peek inside one of the “FAANG”. Next year’s TWI companies will include Home Depot, Federal Express, ExxonMobil and now, Amazon. TWI is a 12-month program providing Supply Corps lieutenants and lieutenant commanders with the opportunity to represent the United States Navy while serving in fellowships with some of the nation's top corporations. Officers selected for this program will be exposed to executive-level decision making and expand their professional supply chain and logistics education. Navy leadership will leverage learning and knowledge gained by these officers during their fellowship to improve Navy’s end-to-end supply chain effectiveness.
