September is the biggest month for seasonal food and beverage LTO (limited-time offer) introductions, for both restaurants and convenience stores, according to Datassential’s State of the LTO report. While restaurant LTO introductions have leveled off from their post-COVID heights, there are areas in which they continue to grow, such as in QSRs. Appetizers and sides are an area of growth across all segments, and breakfast dishes are trending up in midscale restaurants.
