Our Community Relations team proudly supported the installation of Delta High School’s brand-new gym floor. We’re thrilled to see the North Star BlueScope Steel logo shining in our community. Supporting our local schools is what we love to do!

Meet Kim - he's been a dedicated member of the North Star BlueScope Steel family for an impressive 27 years! Q: What is your job? A: I'm the Head Machinist and Fill-in Team Leader. I assist every department, turning parts around quickly, and modifying or creating new parts for existing machinery. I'm always on call to make sure the plant operates efficiently. Q: What 3 words best describe you? A: Determined, Dedicated, Solution-Finder. Q: What makes you proud to work at North Star? A: I'm proud of North Star's continuous efforts to improve manufacturing processes and their support for employees during economic slowdowns. What sets them apart is the freedom employees have in their work environment. Q: What are your hobbies? A: I enjoy working on my home and property. Q: What is your business philosophy? A: To make everything the best it can be. I'm driven by a desire not to let people down, and I'm inspired by my father and his generation. Kim’s dedication and expertise are invaluable to North Star BlueScope Steel. We’re proud to have him on our team!
