This past weekend, OakBend’s Board of Directors and Executive team attended the Texas Healthcare Trustees Governance Conference in San Antonio, TX! Here are some of the highlights: - Ashley Bellew, our Senior Administration Manager, received the prestigious 2024 Ollie Jo Boseman Excellence in Administrative Professionalism Award! - Ashley also led a panel on Best Practices in Governance, sharing insights on diverse governance structures and overcoming challenges. - Joe Freudenberger, our CEO, spoke on a panel about minimizing the impact of cyberattacks. He shared proactive strategies to bolster hospital cybersecurity, including robust backup systems and employee training. We’re thrilled to have participated in this conference, sharing and gaining valuable knowledge to better serve our community.
