Oasis Health Partners had the honor to attend the UnitedHealthcare 2025 Product Rollouts in the Iowa and Nebraska markets over the past few weeks and make some great connections with the local brokers and the UHC sales teams.

Today is Grandparents Day. My grandparents are my “why” behind Oasis Health Partners, and they recently went through an experience that illuminated the realities of rural healthcare. This summer my grandpa developed sepsis and was sent to a rural county hospital. During transport, the ambulance caught fire. Miraculously, he made it through both the sepsis and fire — and the experience highlighted the pervasive access, quality and funding issues we are working hard to improve. It’s with love for two of the best and a renewed commitment to rural health that I wish all Grandparents out there a Happy Grandparents Day!

Oasis Health Partners Midwest Community Engagement team partnered with local broker Alan Hansen from American Republic to host a vendor booth at the Senior Retreat Day in West Des Moines. We were able to talk with 250 plus active seniors looking for local resources to help them navigate the different challenges and opportunities that come with aging. We also helped seniors make connections with local family practices who are accepting new patients.
