Our office’s Major New State Infrastructure Project Revenue bonds received a credit rating upgrade from S&P Global Ratings to AA+. S&P cited the “expectation that pro forma maximum annual debt service (MADS) coverage will remain very strong” as well as “Ohio’s demonstrated history of maintaining an adequate level of lawfully available funds” and “strong federal and state programmatic support” among reasons for the upgrade. #OMAP is a powerful financial tool that helps local governments save money when investing in important community projects. The month of June saw us partner with three first-time and seven long-standing OMAP participants to drive down costs and save more than $267K in total.
