Riley Children’s Foundation is Indiana’s preeminent nonprofit dedicated to funding children’s healthcare and the founding organization that opened Riley Hospital for Children in 1924.  The No. 33 of Christian Rasmussen will carry the iconic Riley wagon beginning today and throughout the Greatest Spectacle in Racing. On day four of our automotive industry countdown, we bring to you: 2️⃣ - STEERING COLUMN ASSEMBLIES A while back our Tube Forming Systems division designed and built a custom 4-station piercing machine that was automated by a gantry system and used a conveyor for part loading and unloading. The conveyor could be hand-loaded or robot tended, allowing for flexibility depending on the customer's current needs. We recently worked with a long-time customer to design and build a dual-station pierce and extrude die, then paired it with an in-stock 30 ton press. This process formed a tube used in the assembly of exhaust systems.
