Getting hands-on with Metro Caring, Colorado’s leading anti-hunger organization and community grocery store for those in need. Our dedicated team in Denver volunteered side-by-side to fulfill much needed roles at Metro Caring's headquarters. Staff assisted with a variety of tasks, such as housekeeping, grocery transport, scheduling, and customer service. These little tasks add up in a big way to help #fighthunger in our local communities. Engaging in a little friendly competition with our community partners, at our annual Race Against Hunger event in Dawson Creek. We had 12 teams race the aisles for a great cause, helping to #fighthunger in the community. The teams collected 3,718 pounds of food, along with a donation match by Ovintiv of $23,000 that will go to the Network Ministries Dawson Creek, St. Marks Food Bank, and the Pouce Coupe Food Bank. When partnerships thrive, communities transform. Ovintiv is a member of the Permian Strategic Partnership (PSP), a unique coalition between the Permian Basin public sector, and 31 leading energy companies operating in the region.
