Our affiliate, Perceptronics Solutions, published a paper describing a new and innovative methodology for calibrating trust in ethical actions for Lethal Autonomous Weapon Systems (LAWS). LAWS will require human operators for mission planning, decision-making, and supervisory control; yet humans lack the cognitive bandwidth and processing speed to make prompt, real-time ethical decisions. Greatful for the awesome people at Perceptronics Solutions, Inc and Pacific Defense for a great experience in LA! Thanks Lincoln Parker, Will Evans, and Department of English and Philosophy for helping in our research on how to train ethical decision making through Bayesian Models and building trust between military commanders and artificial intelligence.
