As a department, we've been experimenting with ways to deconstruct essay structures and the language of assessment more generally. This lesson is aimed at Year 9 and was focused on a Poetry Analysis Task; it breaks down the language of the task and, hopefully, scaffolds the essay structure we expect. I'm a huge Pear Deck Learning fan so I use that as a platform to monitor engagement throughout the lesson and share successful examples of work. Feel free to use and adapt, share any feedback is welcome and I hope the resource is relatively useful for you.
