Happy Birthday, Perrarus!!    We have been in operation under our new flag, Perrarus Solutions, Inc. for a year now and it has been a truly rewarding year!     Here are some highlights: August 2023:  We received our #SBA #SDVOSB Certification February 2024:  We welcomed our VP of People, Karen L. W. May 2024:  We signed three new consulting clients, as well as completed five Teaming Agreements  June 2024:  We brought on two summer interns, Dean Jones and Bradley Babilino  August:  We were awarded a subcontract to support the #AUKUS program We could not imagine a better team with whom to have faced the challenges of the past year and we are immensely grateful to all those around us who have gone out of their way to support us! We thank and value each of you!   We are looking forward to an even more fulfilling next year with our incredible team!  

NASA's Additive Manufacturing Labs As the finale to our summer intern program, the Perrarus team had the honor and pleasure of touring several lab spaces at NASA Langley this week. We got to touch, hold, and learn about some of the technology that has been and will be going to space! We also learned the many ways NASA is boosting our local/regional economy in the research and engineering directorates. Special thanks to the many folks that worked to put this together! U.S. Navy's Fourth Fleet -- Operationalizing the Hybrid Fleet! Perrarus Solutions was energized by the discussions last week at U.S. Navy's Fourth Fleet and grateful to see first-hand how the tremendous team there is operationalizing the integration and evaluation of both manned and unmanned systems. Their passion is evident as they expertly execute their important daily mission while also overseeing the insertion of cutting-edge technologies into maritime operations. Their efforts allow for the proper analysis of how these systems can be integrated, not only in Fourth Fleet, but across maritime theaters worldwide. As the CNO has stated, “One of the best ways to change our force is to rapidly operationalize new technologies, new systems, and new tactics, techniques, and procedures." This is where much of that work is happening. It is clear they have increased the momentum since their Hybrid Fleet Campaign Event last October in Key West and the Fleet’s Maritime Synchronization Symposium in December 2023 and continue to push forward. Arizona's Trident Military Systems Designing and Building America's Finest Simulators Perrarus Solutions was excited to have a first-hand look at Trident Military Systems' Mesa, Arizona facilities and to see the talented and dedicated personnel working to build the finest F-16 Simulators for our Air Force-Air National Guard and Navy pilots, as well as International Students to utilize across the United States. Throughout the visit, it became evident that this team can design and construct any advanced simulator our nation needs - Air, Surface, Subsurface, Vehicle, Tactical Consoles, and Unmanned systems. Thanks so much to Jack Cameron for all of his time and insight and instruction. Finally, it was very clear that our own Megan Oswald was clearly the Top Gun of the Perrarus Team -- the "Maverick"' of those of us who had the chance to fly the simulators!

Having lived in Hampton Roads my entire life, I understand how shipbuilding is delayed gratification work with its complexity and variability. Making a difference for our Navy!! Perrarus Solutions was thrilled to be in Alabama for the past four days and to have the opportunity to see the tremendous work Alabama Shipyard is performing in support of our Navy. Their current work on MSC and MARAD vessels is ensuring that our Navy's forces will be ready to support combat operations with the required logistics support they need. The first-class work the Alabama Shipyard team is executing, and the pride and passion by which they execute their work is evident in everything you see and in everyone you meet. An educational and very informative event at the Virginia Peninsula Chamber today. William Donaldson, PhD did an amazing remote presentation as part of the Chamber’s Start, Grow, Thrive series.
