Since 1978 Phenix Truck Bodies and Equipment has been manufacturing specialty custom work trucks for Southern California Municipalities, Utilities, Fire Departments and the US Government. Phenix Truck Bodies and Equipment offers complete fleet solutions by providing a world-class customer experience, equipment and accessories built to customers' exacting specifications. Phenix partners with customer's on all phases of equipment acquisition. Together, with fleet managers we establish specific body design requirements, integrating essential systems and equipment (air, electrical and hydraulic) and provide drawings, specifications & service to support the product after the sale. For over 30 years Phenix Truck Bodies has designed and manufactured custom work trucks and fire apparatus for the most discriminating customers. For several years Phenix has partnered to supply customers that include: Southern California Edison, Southern California Gas Company, Los Angeles County Fire Department, San Diego Gas & Electric, USDA-Forest Service and the Los Angeles County Dept. of Public Works to name a few. Phenix Truck Bodies and Equipment's manufacturing and distribution center operates from a 100,000 square foot facility on over 10 acres in Pomona, California. Centrally located in Southern California, the Pomona facilities allow Phenix to quickly and effectively service customers in Los Angeles, Orange, and surrounding counties.

Since 1980, Phenix Truck and Van, a minority-owned business, has provided SCE comprehensive and world-class fleet solutions. From utility service to fire paramedic squad truck bodies, Phenix has delivered for many government, public safety, and commercial stakeholders. During a recent field visit with my SCE colleagues Tom Guntrip, Mario Munoz, Gabriela Castillo, Kevin Tovar, Steve Scott, Todd Carlson, Sally. Virgen, Mike Marelli, and others - we got to see and learn more about how the magic happens safely at Phenix’s expanding manufacturing facilities in the City of Pomona.
