When thinking about diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) people often think about someone's age, race, gender, or veteran status. However, there are many aspects of life that make us different and unique! One of those is neurodiversity, which relates to the way people process information and organize work. Two of our employees, Melissa and Tara, share their experiences about what it's like to be neurodivergent, while also working at Pierce County. Thank you Melissa and Tara for sharing your stories with us! 🤗
