Thank you so much to everyone that particpated in our first ever Summer Donation Drive! Because of our generous collection sites and donors, we were able to collect $3,815 worth of in-kind items for our clients. We are so excited to continue this drive for years to come! THANK YOU!

Can you help Pillars with meal providing? We rely heavily on volunteers to feed clients at each shelter on a daily basis. We are currently in need of some folks to help us out! Meal providing includes making (or purchasing) a nutritious meal for 55-60 shelter clients. This opportunity is open to remote volunteers who deliver the meal or to individuals/groups who prepare the meal on-site. 4:45-5 p.m. daily (Adult & Family Shelter) and 5:15-5:30 p.m. daily (Adult Shelter). As Independence Day approaches, Pillars invites you to celebrate “Independence Together." Your support allows our clients to build independence across many Pillars programs. One of those program is Single Room Occupancy (SRO). Living in one of Pillars' five SRO homes means clients share common spaces with roomates and have their own bedrooms. After leaving a relationship, Sarah* went to Pillars Adult Shelter and was later selected for an SRO home. Sarah is grateful the SRO program has taught her how to be responsible and accountable during her battle with addiction and mental illness. “I have an actual plan for the first time ever,” said Sarah. “I have a two-year plan. I have goosebumps! I’ve never really planned out my future before.” When you give to Pillars, your support allows clients like Sarah to learn independent living skills in programs like SRO.
