🌆 What happens in Vegas doesn't always stay in Vegas: This week, some of our Plane team members swapped screens for (lots of) sun in Las Vegas ☀. While we love #remotework, it's also always nice to get to catch up and meet face-to-face. Our downtown food tour led us to The Mantis, a 40-foot flaming sculpture at the Container Park 🔥

👋 Hey! I’m Jacob, a Customer Success Manager with Plane, currently living in Mérida, México. I’m taking over Plane’s LinkedIn page today 😊 👨💻 I’ve been working remotely for five years and couldn’t enjoy it more. I have two young children, so the flexibility of #remotework and structuring my day around maximizing my time with them has been amazing. You can typically find me working from my home office, but occasionally, I’ll work from a coffee shop if I need to change up my environment ☕️ Mérida is a beautiful city with lots of different things to do. We’ll often pop over to one of the many beaches for an afternoon, or take a weekend trip to visit and swim in some cenotes (an underground cave with water 🏊♀️). I love Plane’s mission of opening up cross-border work opportunities, and I truly enjoy the work I do (having great colleagues also helps with that!) Outside of work, I enjoy playing pádel, making espresso (and trying my best with latte art 😅), and spending time with my family.
