Congratulations to Our First Participants in the Department of Labor Mechatronics Technician Apprenticeship Program! We are thrilled to announce that Justin and Veston have officially registered for the Department of Labor Mechatronics Technician Apprenticeship Program! Please join us in celebrating these two outstanding individuals on this exciting career milestone! Both Justin and Veston have put in incredible hard work and dedication, successfully advancing within our plant. This program combines on-the-job training and classroom instruction, giving them an amazing opportunity to further develop their skills in mechatronics. The classroom instruction will be provided by Cleveland State Community College, while our fantastic mentors at Starplex will guide them through the hands-on training. Each participant must complete 6000 hours of on-the-job training and 585 hours of classroom instruction (39 credit hours). Upon completion, they will earn a Journeyman’s card from the Department of Labor, and all credit hours can be applied towards obtaining their associate degree. We’d also like to extend a huge thank you to the Cleveland, TN, management team for their invaluable support in making this program possible! Your dedication to employee development truly makes a difference. We're excited to support Justin and Veston on their journey, and we can’t wait to see all they will accomplish!
