On August 9th, we gathered for an unforgettable evening at the home of Paula Gonzalez, the Executive Coordinator for the Preventive Measures Foundation. The event was a lively and special cocktail party, where the healing power of feminine energy took center stage. The event brought together incredible women who shape their communities into inclusive, empowered, and loving spaces. Our attendees, including many influential women leaders and advocates, inspired us with their passion and commitment to improving mental well-being in our community. Their contributions will directly support our mission through funding for mental health treatment, scholarships for training professionals to work with at-risk populations, and initiatives to eliminate the stigma surrounding mental health. We were also honored to have our CEO, Mr. Dwayne L. Jones join us for the evening. Dwayne spoke passionately about his upbringing, sharing how he was shaped by the strong women in his life, including his mother and grandmother, who raised him with resilience and love. The evening was filled with delicious food, talk of community support and organizing, and getting to know the incredible women working behind the scenes to make change happen. At the end of the night each guest was given a parting gift including information about the upcoming Preventive Measures Foundation Gala. We want to give a special thanks to the incredible caterer Artisan Cuisine by Yasmine LLC who is an inspiring woman in her own right! Thank you for creating such a beautiful assortment of delicious food. Thank you to everyone who attended and made this event so special. Your energy and ideas are vital to the work we do, and together, we will continue to make a meaningful impact on the communities we serve.
