Happy #ChapterHighlight! This time last year, Assumption University’s Psi Chi Chapter hosted a psychology game night with many board games and card games available. The event was open to all students who wanted to attend. One of the games that the chapter offered was Psychopoly, a psychology themed version of the game Monopoly. Both students and professors attended. There was a great turnout with lots of students participating in the activities. They brought prizes to give to the winners of each game at the end of the night, and people seemed to enjoy it! We’re excited to see what Psi Chi chapters are up to this new academic year!

Meet Psi Chi member and 2024 graduate, Lizzie Palmieri! 🎓 Lizzie recently graduated summa cum laude from Penn State University with a double major in Marketing and Psychology. She also served as a teaching assistant for multicultural psychology, where she worked to promote an environment of inclusivity, community, and friendship beyond the major. During Lizzie’s time at “Dear Old State,” she was the vice president of the Psi Chi Penn State Chapter. Founded in 1929, their chapter is one of the oldest and largest in the world. She highlights having had the distinct honor of hosting their professional development event series and welcoming the largest induction class in the chapter’s history. She mentions how it was an extraordinary year to be part of Psi Chi, and emphasizes that the future of the field is quite bright!  Congratulations, Lizzie! 🎉
