Hiring sales is different from hiring any other position. Why? Recruiting shifts when you have to vet out the soft skills required for sales, rather than matching resumes with open positions. Hard skills are easier to find as they are 'measurable' and soft skills are not; a lot more strategy, preparation, and intentionality are required to seek out the soft skills needed for sales roles. We have placed numerous candidates that weren't a fit on paper but were a strong fit for the actual role. A resume never tells the whole story.

Number 1! Another Quarter in the books and we brought it HOME! You're looking at a bunch of winners AND I'M PUMPED TO BE LEADING EM! We ended Q2 as the number 1 team at 138% to goal and Pursuit's treating us like it over dinner! Not to mention our Point Operator Austin Sullivan leading the way at over 200% to goal... this man IS A BEAST and he brings method to our madness. It's exactly the way we wanted to kick off our first time working together. Anna Madison had her biggest quarter yet🎉🤩 Xavia Wigfall brought home one of her biggest placements so far🐋 Paige Giacoletto Skeeter is working on a major project and it's looking spicy🤫 (no spoilers) Genuinely proud to work with these people and I'm excited for what we're about to do in Q3! P.S. Special shoutout to everyone who responded to our Inmail LinkedIn messages... these margaritas were made possible by you 🥂 (Still waiting for Nickelback to come into town) 'Till next time! 👋

How to create a resume that hiring managers want to read📃 - Keep it to one page - Numbers!! Include metrics, sales numbers, rankings, etc. Make it easy for the hiring manager to see your success. - Reverse chronological order - start with your most recent position and go backwards. - Clear, concise, and easy to read. The goal of a resume is to be able to look at it and see if your experience is transferrable to the role you’re interviewing for. Make it easy on the person reading it.

A player salespeople might not need your role like you think they do. Most top performing salespeople are employed, and succeeding where they're at. They're not going to be out looking for and applying to your role. Sales leaders, your recruiting function has to have a proactive approach to filling your hiring funnel with top performers in order to get the talent you want on your team.

The never-ending recruiting cycle🔄 You land that A-Player for your company. You’re excited to have them help you scale your company. & then just a few months into the role, they leave. How do you avoid this? Adding VALUE to your employees will keep you off the recruiting hamster wheel. When an employee sees the long-term value in your organization, they’ll often choose your company over others - and be in it for the long haul.

When you’re interviewing for a sales role, here are 2 of the most important things to remember⤵️ 1. A sales interview is a sales process. You’re just selling yourself to the job instead of selling a product/service. 2. They're typically(not always) going to be interviewing more qualified candidates than you. Come prepared to sell yourself, overcome hesitations, and explain why you’re the best fit for the job regardless of who you’re up against.
