➡ Opportunity Alert for Clean Energy Innovators to work with QuesTek under a government funded program. The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), in collaboration with ENERGYWERX, offers the Performance Validation, Modeling, and Certification Support Voucher Opportunity (VO-2). This program, part of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, provides up to $250,000 in support for for-profit companies ready to commercialize clean energy technologies. Eligible areas include advanced nuclear, carbon management, long-duration energy storage, clean hydrogen, industrial decarbonization, and electric grid upgrades. The voucher covers performance validation, certification testing, advanced modeling, digital twin development, and more. Under this program, QuesTek has been selected as a preapproved provider for this program. Preference is given to those with near-ready prototypes and prior DOE-funded R&D. Last week QuesTek's Jason Sebastian (Board Chair, ACRC) visited Lite Magnesium Products inc (LMP) in Ravenna, Ohio to welcome them to the Advanced Casting Research Center (ACRC). ACRC is an industry-university alliance in North America and is known for carrying out fundamental research with clear industrial applications. Joining Jason are LMP’s CEO/President, Arun Jeldi, Prof. Alan Luo (OSU; ACRC Co-Director) and Jason Walker (OSU CDME) along with members of Prof. Luo’s research group.
