Radius teams from across our operations are celebrating #EarthDay today by participating in park, street, and river cleanups, tree plantings, outdoor beautification, and other projects that promote environmental preservation in the communities where we operate.     Employees use Volunteer Time Off hours to participate in Earth Day events as we advance our goal to donate 10,000 volunteer hours by the end of 2025.  

Radius Recycling congratulates the Recycled Materials Association (ReMA) on the new brand identity, which reflects the purpose and value that the recycling industry delivers every day. Radius teams participated as speakers, moderators, and leaders at #ISRI2024, including a powerful message from Colin Kelly, the newly elected ReMA Chair and Radius’s Vice President of Government and Public Affairs.

TIME's CO2 Future series offers a collection of stories that seek to illustrate the role of business in the transition to a low carbon economy. The program aims to shape a new narrative about what can - and must - be done across numerous industries to remake the world in a #sustainable way. Radius was recently featured as part of this series, highlighting the critical role that #recycled metals play in global #decarbonization efforts.

Sustainability Magazine recently published a top 10 list of business leaders working to drive positive impacts through advocacy, philanthropy, and a focus on responsible business. Alongside innovators in renewable energy, technology, engineering, manufacturing, and design, Radius Chairman and CEO Tamara Lundgren was included on this list — a recognition that highlights Radius's responsible recycling operations, including investments in advanced metals recovery systems as well as progress toward our multi-year #sustainability goals.

Today we published our Fiscal 2023 Sustainability Report, Where Change Begins. The report details our work to advance the circular economy through the recovery, reuse, and recycling of the essential metals required to support global #decarbonization efforts. It also showcases progress toward our multi-year #sustainability goals, including achieving our greenhouse gas emissions reduction target - two years ahead of schedule. “Nearly 10 years ago, we created a sustainability framework based on three pillars: People, Planet, and Profit. This framework is the foundation of our sustainability strategy and continues to deliver meaningful impact to all our stakeholders,” said Tamara Lundgren, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.
