NVIDIA and NEURA team up to redefine the future of robotics As NVIDIA announced at ACM SIGGRAPH: NEURA Robotics is among the first joining the early access NVIDIA Humanoid Robot Developer Program. The NEURA product portfolio includes cobots for current industrial applications (LARA series), the first cognitive cobot (MAiRA), mobile robots and manipulators, and the 4NE-1 humanoid robot. This provides the NVIDIA Omniverse with the most diverse robot portfolio based on a single AI-integrated platform. From September 2024, all Neuraverse partners and customers will benefit from the foundation model of NVIDIA's Project GR00T and related enhancements. The NVIDIA Jetson Thor, used with cognitive solutions from NEURA Robotics, enhances on-device AI, delivering high-performance outputs in scenarios on the edge. The combination of the Omniverse and the Neuraverse platform creates a global technology ecosystem that will significantly speed up the development and deployment of both cognitive and humanoid robots. David Reger, founder and visionary of NEURA Robotics, commented on the collaboration: "This initiative aligns perfectly with our mission to serve humanity using groundbreaking robotic technologies. Another enlightening CVPR in the books. Hosting it in Seattle this year felt special and fitting. Here are some of my key observations: - AI is already revolutionizing entire industries. - The R&D in AI is extraordinary. - Some ventures are being launched at a frantic pace. - Be extra diligent when assessing AI ventures. In a way the current frenzy reminds me of the hype times in Crypto. - There are so many new AI developments, even industry experts have a hard time keeping up. Reindustrialize 2024 was spectacular. An inspiring and mission-aligned tech summit of people striving for continued progress, prosperity and freedom. ENERGY Radiant - Doug Bernauer and his team are building nuclear microreactors to replaces diesel generators. Valar Atomics - Isaiah Taylor and his team aim to produce low-cost, carbon neutral synthetic fuels by leveraging atomic energy. Fuse - JC B. and the Fuse team are accelerating the world’s transition to fusion energy. DEFENSE Anduril Industries - Anduril is disrupting Defense, and forging a path for other Defense tech startups to follow. This isn't hyperbole. It's a fact. Saronic Technologies - Saronic's team is building highly capable, autonomous surface ships for the Navy and US-aligned defense customers. MANUFACTURING Nominal - Cameron McCord and his team are building software to accelerate the creation of hardware used in space, energy and other sectors critical to national security. Machina Labs - “Machina Labs uses robots the way a blacksmith uses a hammer to creatively manufacture different designs and material, introducing unprecedented flexibility and agility to the manufacturing industry.” (TC, 5/10/23).
