Taylor Morrison, one of the largest homebuilders in the U.S., recently released its 2023 Sustainability and Belonging Report. The builder reported that in 2023, “In most of our markets of operation, we utilize Residential Energy Services Network's (RESNET) nationally-recognized Home Energy Rating System (HERS®) to measure our homes' projected energy performance and estimate the greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from their lifetime usage.” The report stated that the homes rated in 2023 achieved an average HERS Index Score of 57. https://lnkd.in/e3nxX9tG

RESNET® seeks Quality Assurance (QA) Investigations Project Manager With over 4.2 million HERS® rated homes nationwide (and counting!), RESNET is currently seeking a Quality Assurance (QA) Investigations Project Manager to work with the RESNET QA Staff on investigating possible non-compliance and confirmed non-compliance of RESNET standards in the Home Energy Rating System (HERS) industry. This fully remote full-time position will play an important role on our small, dedicated team, helping to serve a large network of home energy rating professionals, builders, and government and industry stakeholders. The ICC Board of Directors has developed a draft scope and intent for the 2027 IECC based on feedback from the 2024 IECC appeals process, open for public comment until Monday, August 19, 2024, at 11:59 pm Pacific Time. Following review and consideration of the public comments, the ICC Board of Directors will set the final scope and intent statements for the 2027 IECC. Also, the ICC is now accepting applications for IECC Consensus Committee membership for the 2027 code development cycle. More details at https://lnkd.in/e66iNXP4
