    This webinar will provide an overview of the latest Innovations in #RFdiodes, #SAWfilters and #MMICs for RF applications. Microchip will cover RF diodes utilizing new and unique monolithic MMSM (Monolithic Microwave Surface Mount) technology with package/device integration accomplished at the wafer fabrication level. Integrated (miniature) switched SAW filter bank replacing array of discrete filters or (lower selectivity/performance) wide-band filter solution with significant miniaturization over discrete solution. Monolithic Microwave Integrated Circuits (MMIC) innovations to generate high linear output power with high efficiency.     Higher frequencies enable higher data rates and wider communication bandwidths. 5G FR2, satellite communications, radar and instrumentation are some of the many applications that benefit from #mmW spectrum and bandwidth availability. Increasingly, designs are requiring operation in frequency ranges up to 50 GHz. Working at these frequencies can be difficult for experienced designers but can become even more challenging for companies who lack the right resources and expertise.     The MAAL-010528 from MACOM is a high-performance X-band GaAs low noise amplifier that operates from 8 to 12 GHz. It provides a nominal gain of 20 dB with excellent gain flatness, OIP3 linearity of +26 dBm, and a noise figure of 1.6 dB at 10 GHz. The part features a self-bias architecture that requires only a single, positive supply.
