The company has evolved from a small interiors contractor to a national employee-owned firm that achieved $1.1 billion of revenue in 2023 across eight offices. Rycon has grown to 830 employees and completed work in 40+ states in multiple market sectors. Last week, Rycon’s Patrick Stone, Joe Tavella, and Justin Altmeyer attended a ribbon cutting ceremony at Franciscan University of Steubenville’s Christ the Teacher Hall. Franciscan University was blessed with a beautiful day to celebrate this new 110,000 sq. ft. academic building and event center. Rycon thanks MCF Architecture and the consultants for working with us again to deliver this project for our valued client. Last week, Rycon’s Philadelphia team poured 104 cubic yards of concrete for an elevated, multi-level terrace outside of a two-story dormitory at the University of Pennsylvania. With student move-in scheduled for this week, temporary measures are currently in place to accommodate the timeline and completion which is set for this fall. Rycon’s Washington, DC office recently completed this renovation and expansion for BLACK HOG BBQ in historic downtown Frederick.   The project included a total gut and renovation of the original space along with a 2,000 SF addition, expanding the kitchen, adding a rooftop bar and seating area, and installing a new smoker.
