Prompting proficiency makes more of a difference in saving time with AI than you might think – and fewer people can do it well than you might assume. Here’s where most people go wrong: 👎 They don’t provide any helpful background context 👎 They don’t give clear instructions for what output they want 👎 Their prompts are unstructured and open ended Why does this matter? The people saving 12 hours a week with AI are in the top 8% in terms of prompting skill. Being an AI leader means mastering two distinct skills: Setting strategy with AI, and deploying AI in your team. Here’s how you can learn both in 10 days: First in AI for Strategic Decision-Making, Taylor Malmsheimer will show you how to map AI’s strengths to the core part of making a decision: Identifying solutions, pressure testing them, and getting buy-in. Then in Integrating AI into Team Workflows, Dan Slagen will guide you through the AI-Fueled Workflow Framework to pick high opportunity workflows for AI augmentation, break it down into tasks AI can do, and outline a pilot for your team. Round it out with AI strategy resources built by experts and an office hours session with an AI consultant to get feedback, suggestions, and new ideas. Link to learn more is in the comments (p.s. make sure your comments filter is on most recent!)

With AI as a copilot, you spend less time preparing to make a decision and more time analyzing it, pressure testing it, and getting to a better decision with less friction. Taylor Malmsheimer will show you how in our AI for Strategic Decision Making workshop. Over 2 hours, you’ll learn how AI plugs into every phase of making a decision and apply it to a decision you’re trying to make right now, so you can get back to work with an edge. The next cohort runs on September 5th. We’ll leave the link to enroll in the comments.

AI initiatives seem like Big Tech’s thing, right? Wrong. Small businesses are leading the AI charge. The majority of AI Class members are in companies that range from 1-500 employees. They get the most training, the most approval, and the most access to paid LLMs. The lesson: You don’t need big budgets or to be big players to pull ahead in AI proficiency. We broke down what they do differently in our free report. Link to download in the comments.

Brian Kolodny has designed chatbots for 37 Global 100 companies, including Universal Theme Parks. Here’s how he built an AI agent to streamline their entire park process: - Laid out his logic tree – everything everyone could want to do, eat, ride, and buy across Universal’s 10 lands. - Designed an AI agent that could gather a family’s preferences and length of stay, and create a streamline itinerary of things to do. While you’re in the park, your agent is notifying you of ride wait times, allowing you to order food and souvenirs ahead, and providing you with realtime alternatives if your itinerary changes. And this entire experience is managed within one AI chatbot. He broke down how he did it, and how he designed Toyota’s very first chatbot experience, in last week’s Strategy Brief. We’ll leave the link for you in the comments, if you missed it.
