That moment you hear your work come to life! 🎶 After a couple years writing and prepping for Palia's score to be recorded at Synchron Stage Vienna, it was a surreal moment standing on that podium. I write music for the purpose of the project of course, but as an orchestral musician myself, I know how satisfying it is to play something fun. That is one of my many goals and joys to achieve while composing a work. "Palia has always excelled at being a cozy game, similar to Stardew Valley, but the multiplayer aspect felt a little perfunctory and unnecessary. Now, it’s worth finding a few buddies. In other games, I might resent this — why do I have to go and play with Randy Rando? But in Palia, I’ve been shocked at how pleasant the experience is. Everyone is incredibly nice." But these elements are some of the most challenging to implement, scale, distribute geographically, and operate at minimal cost without negative player impact. Last week, the Palian moons aligned for Sixers who participated in Sixer Game Night, an epic soirée where Singularity 6 stormed arcades in LA, Seattle, Chicago, and Las Vegas.
