Congratulations to the Equiniti team on the $275 million dividend distribution completed this week – a reflection of strong execution and ongoing operational outperformance since our investment ~2.5 years ago. Keep up the good work!

The Siris team recently participated in Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights’ Compass Summer Investor Conference, joining policymakers and financial services leaders to discuss how we can leverage our collective influence to create a more inclusive economy. Of note Frank Baker moderated a panel with Darrick Hamilton and Connecticut State Treasurer Erick Russell to discuss how baby bonds – an innovative policy enacted in CT in which newborn children receive a funded trust at birth – can help reduce the racial wealth gap, and also held an engaging keynote fireside chat with Vermont State Treasurer Mike Pieciak. 

Our very own Melissa Erchick recently participated in the Business Development Board of Palm Beach County, Inc.’s Academic Leaders Council meeting, where she collaborated with local academic leaders and executives to discuss both the evolving workplace and alignment of industry needs and academic curriculum in the region. We are proud to be leaders in South Florida’s growing financial services community and look forward to continuing to build meaningful relationships with universities and executives across the area.

Our very own Sherwyn Williams CISSP, CCSP, Head of IT and Cybersecurity, will provide valuable insights as to how private equity firms are firms are leveraging technology to mitigate cybersecurity risks while improving transparency during the “Technology & Cybersecurity in Private Equity” Panel. 

We are excited to share that our new portfolio company BearCom has acquired The Surveillance Shop, a commercial security integrator based in Canada. This transaction will help support BearCom’s growth strategy focused on expanding capabilities across key adjacent markets, including video security, access control, and wireless enablement.
