Skyrocket’s niche expertise is in the intersection between academic and administrative performance. Providing quality education to diverse student populations while maintaining fiscal health is challenging. In fact, it is a tremendous responsibility that stymies even the most competent and compassionate administrators. Our belief is that Principals and Superintendents can’t go it alone; they need a team of folks in the background, tirelessly committed to helping realize the common goals of administrators, teachers, school staff members, students, and their families. Keep reading! 🚀 What is your role here at Skyrocket? “I oversee the entire process of building, producing, and releasing our workbook curriculum. I’m involved in every stage, from the initial pre-development phase, where we select standards and learning targets, to providing input on the design elements of specific courses.” ✨ What inspires you to do the work that you do? “I really love knowing that the work I do makes a difference in so many students' lives. I know they never realize that and this is just fine! I know our curriculum challenges the students, but it also brings them steps closer to graduating and realizing their dreams.” 📚 What is your background in the education field? “I originally entered as an Independent Study teacher and eventually moved on to being an instructional coach and helped start the network's Small Group Instruction program.” 🎒 Favorite memory of high school? “A school-sponsored trip to France during the summer between my sophomore and junior year. Because I took French, I was eligible to go.
