School is almost in session and as teens head back this fall, we’re launching new tools and resources created specifically for educators. 📚🎒 Our new Educator’s Guide to Snapchat includes an overview of how Snapchat works, ways it can be used positively within school communities, and information about our safety tools and Community Guidelines. We’re also introducing a way for educators to directly share their perspectives and insights about how Snapchat is being utilized. Last week was spent in Sydney where we rolled out the Less Social Media, More Snapchat campaign. Along with the public campaign, we had important conversations with journalists, parents, policy makers and partners on the important subject of trust and the role of tech platforms in building thriving communities in Australia. We were honored to host the members of our inaugural Council for Digital Well-Being and their chaperones at Snap HQ last month for an in-person summit! The jam-packed few days included breakout sessions, group discussions, mentorship opportunities, guest speakers, and more, uncovering interesting insights on topics such as online pitfalls, parental tools, and digital and in-person social dynamics.
