We help communities solve complex social problems.
Über uns
We help communities solve complex social problems. We partner with government, philanthropies, nonprofit leaders, and others to address the ever-evolving needs of the community. Our consultants carry deep expertise in areas requiring innovative solutions including education, ethical funding, gun violence, workforce development, affordable housing and homelessness, and diversity, equity, inclusion and access. Our approach is deliberate, incorporating community-centered, trauma-informed, and equity-driven practices throughout each project. Collaborating closely with our clients, we ensure the implementation of solutions that optimize awareness, engagement, and adoption at every stage. Our services are designed with end-to-end problem solving in mind. We value doing the right thing even if no one will ever know. When something is broken we act. We pursue growth and embrace change. We facilitate breakthrough. We understand people are human and change is hard.

Dreams do come true. I took yesterday to let things sink in. As leaders, we don't often celebrate the seemingly impossible tasks once they're completed. So, I took time, by myself, to reflect, to celebrate, and to take it all in. Now, it's time to exclaim that The Bryan Allen Stevenson School of Excellence is open! Yesterday, we celebrated the opening of a new innovative service-learning school in rural Sussex County, Delaware, for middle (and future high school) students to explore and impact their world now. There are too many people to thank, all of whom have been part of the #village required to make this dream a reality. There aren't enough words of thanks or gratitude to express. Dr. Teresa E. S. Berry Ed.D, Christy Taylor, Amy Golden Shepherd, Betsy Renzo, Chantalle Ashford, Crystal Timmons-Bryant, Howard Stevenson, and many, many more! There were many moments when I fought the urge as a leader not to express emotion, to portray the stoic leadership persona. But seeing our new students stand in front of their new school smiling, our teacher's classrooms decorated, our community's overwhelming presence and support, and feeling the seven years of work it took to make this happen, I cried. As leaders, it's OK to feel. I'm sure I'll have more to share and say in the near future, but for now, just immense joy and gratitude. We did it!

We are so lucky to have Alonna B. on our team!
It's OK to be uncomfortable. It's not everyday you get to see yourself on a cover. The most rewarding part was seeing my son recognize his "Mama." The seeds we plant now, may not fruit for years. But they require our time and attention now. Community matters. Getting involved on projects and issues that matter is the cornerstone for a better tomorrow. The work I do today, is for our collective better tomorrow. "Communities need the innovation of the next generation to flourish." - Alonna Berry Thank you Becca Mathias for the wonderful photos. Thank you Tara Marks for a fantastic story. Go do something uncomfortable! #change #community #volunteer #innovation Article link here: https://lnkd.in/eEJuXS-z
