BAFTX empowers financially challenged students in Texas who demonstrate academic excellence to fulfill their exceptional potential by providing support for their college education in the United States. Additionally, students are offered a unique learning experience in the UK, offering them an early opportunity to broaden their perspectives and personal visions. Spindletop, as a nonprofit partner of BAFTX, plays a vital role in championing the educational aspirations of underserved students. Through collaborative efforts, Spindletop and BAFTX work hand in hand to provide invaluable support for these students, ensuring they have access to the resources and opportunities necessary to excel academically and fulfill their potential. Together, we believe in the transformative power of education and are committed to creating pathways that empower students to thrive and make meaningful contributions to their communities. What a blast we had at the Back 2 School Bash! 🎒 Huge thanks to the The CAC Houston, Houston Museum of Natural Science and all of our amazing volunteers for making this day unforgettable. From scavenger hunts to learning about snakes, and handing out backpacks, we saw so many smiles and filled hearts with joy. Here’s to making a difference and kicking off the school year with a bang! 🌟

For the second year in a row, we partnered with Subsea7 to support YES Prep Public Schools by helping students prepare for the new school year! 📚🖍️ We packed backpacks with essential supplies like notebooks, pens, and crayons, and included heartfelt messages to brighten their first day. As Katie K. Daggett, Director of Development at YES Prep, said, "Every child deserves to be ready to learn and succeed in the classroom." Here’s to a fantastic start to the school year! ✨

Spindletop is proud to partner with Kids' Meals, Inc.! Kids’ Meals mission is to end childhood hunger in Houston by delivering free healthy meals, year-round to the doorsteps of Houston’s hungriest preschool-aged children and, through collaboration, provide their families with resources to end the cycle of poverty. They directly address the hunger and food insecurity for children ages 5 and under who are not only at a critical developmental stage, but also cannot access school-based free meal programs. Each weekday, they deliver approximately 7,300 healthy meals to Houston’s hungriest preschool-aged children, which expands to 12,000 kids per day in the summer when school is out and all school-aged children are at home needing lunches.

As we work to enhance the lives of at-risk youth through funding and volunteering from the energy industry, our community plays an integral role in our ability to make an impact. The Spindletop Community is made up of volunteers, non-profit partners, donors and event sponsors whose integral funding and volunteer hours make bring our mission to fruition.
