🎉 Celebrating 50 Years of Indiana WIC! 🤰❤️ This month marks the 50th anniversary of the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC). For half a century, Indiana WIC has been dedicating to improving the health of women, infants, and children by providing nutritious foods, education, breastfeeding support, and health screenings. Indiana WIC has helped reduce fetal and infant mortality while increasing immunization rates. This year alone, the programs is expected to serve over 1.77 million participants and contribute more than $128 million to local communities through food benefit purchases. We're incredibly proud of our dedicated team for volunteering their time to support the launch of the Lactation After Loss program. Our extraordinary employees worked together with The Milk Bank to create about 2,700 bereavement kits.
