September is Workforce Development Month, and we will be highlighting some of the SOA Partners doing important work in this area. Partners like R.O.S.A, an organization dedicated to bridging the gap bridging the gap between STEM students of color and industry leading companies.

QUALITY EDUCATION FOR MINORITIES NETWORK furthers the goals of SOA’s national strategy in several ways, including by supporting researchers at minority-serving institutions (MSIs) in enhancing their grant development capacity through training workshops, consultations, and review sessions.

Our partner FIRST is preparing young people for the future through a suite of inclusive, team-based robotics programs.

Excelencia in Education applies a Latino lens to accelerate efforts that lead to equity and excellence in STEMM, ensuring that Latino student success strengthens America’s civic leadership, economy, and workforce.

As part of its work to help Pennsylvania students keep pace with 21st century workforce needs, the PA Alliance for STEM Education is partnering with the College Access and Success Ecosystem (CASE) of Philadelphia Education Fund to increase the graduation rate of Philadelphia High School students.

The mission of Black Innovation Leaders of Florida is to unite organizations and innovation community leaders across the state of Florida who share a focus on improving the current and future state of innovation within the black community.

For 40 years, our partner Arizona Science Center has provided Arizonans with exciting and impactful learning experiences through hands-on exhibits, world-renowned exhibitions, planetarium presentations, educational programs, and other initiatives that promote an understanding of STEMM.
