We're proud to announce that SWEPCO, through the AEP Foundation, has awarded a $5,000 grant to the Illinois River Watershed Partnership! This grant supports the IRWP's Education and Research Program, which has reached more than14,000 students in Arkansas and Oklahoma and engaged countless volunteers in conservation efforts. The AEP Foundation has given IRWP more than $212,000 in grants dating back to 2019 to help support their initiatives. 🔨🎨 Our dedicated teams from across the SWEPCO & Public Service Company of Oklahoma footprint came together to make a difference! This year, an annual service project took us to the charming town of Avinger, Texas. Over 20 employees rolled up their sleeves to transform the local community park maintained by the 1936 Study Club. From constructing a new pavilion to repainting playground equipment and expanding a pollinator garden, our team worked tirelessly to make a difference. 🌳🌼 We’re proud to not only power communities but also to enrich them.
