𝐋𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐧 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬: 𝐅𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐡𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐒𝐲𝐬𝐤𝐚 𝐇𝐞𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐲 Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts opened its doors on September 23, 1962. Syska Hennessy has been involved since the beginning, providing the complete engineering systems design for the five-building complex, including the central refrigeration plant and expansive plaza. Over the years, we’ve continued to support Lincoln Center through renovations and upgrades, ensuring it remains state-of-the-art while honoring its historic roots. A highlight was our involvement in the 1999 Capital Needs Survey, where we assessed the campus’s mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, laying the groundwork for future improvements. Lincoln Center continues to be a premier destination for world-class performances, and we are proud to have contributed to its legacy.
