  • I was so excited to have Scott Malone join us for his next adventure as one of our founders. I worked with him at Bethesda and knew how valuable he would be in helping us achieve our goal of building a successful new IP. He and Mark Tucker worked together for seven years, turning Fallout 76 around. That was no easy task, and it gives me great hope for your future.

Meet our founding team—Scott Malone! Scott is our VP of Production and Operations. He previously worked on prestigious titles such as Fallout 76 and The Elder Scrolls Online. 🚀 Why Did you start T-Minus Zero Entertainment? As we were finishing our 8th year of development on Fallout 76, Mark Tucker and I wanted to try our hand at a new challenge. While we were gauging interest from publishers on our new venture, we found out that Rich Vogel and Jeff Dobson were also looking for a new opportunity. One quick meeting later we decided to reunite and form T-Minus Zero. 🚀 What is your role at T-Minus Zero? As the VP of Production and Operations my main job is to help the team build a successful and sustainable roadmap through release. Additionally, I manage the day-to-day operations of IT and HR. 🚀 What is exciting and different here? By far the most exciting is to make a brand-new IP, especially with new tech and a global focus. This poses several challenges that I'm excited to tackle on the daily, and is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity than I'm grateful for. 🚀 Why should players care about T-Minus Zero? We all share a goal at the studio of making a compelling, immersive, action game that resonates with audiences worldwide, so you should keep an eye out if that's something you're into.

  • Meet our founding team—Jeff Dobson! Jeff is our Art Director. His previous works include Star Wars The Old Republic and Star Wars: Galaxies. 🚀 Why Did you start T-Minus Zero Entertainment? I was a founding member of a studio many years ago and it was one of the most fulfilling things I have done in my career. Starting with just a few people and a couple computers to build a studio, team, and game is a ride that there is just nothing out there like it. 🚀 What is your role at T-Minus Zero? I am the Art Director. In that role, my primary responsibility is to make decisions on what the game is going to look like and guide the creation of all the art for that game to meet that vision. 🚀 What is exciting and different here? As a remote studio, TM0 has given me the opportunity to build a team made up of some of the best talent in the world—artists that likely would not have been available if joining the team required relocation. Additionally, the project we have planned has presented some challenges that really raise the bar beyond what has been seen before. Breaking new ground is always exciting to me as a game developer. 🚀 Why should players care about T-Minus Zero? In some ways, they shouldn’t care yet. We have quite a bit of work to do before they should. When the time comes that we are far enough along with our project, I only hope that what we have to show them will earn their attention.

  • Meet our founding team—Mark Tucker! Mark is our Game Director, with past works including popular titles Halo 4 or Fallout 76. 🚀 Why Did you start T-Minus Zero Entertainment? Starting a studio and being the creative vision holder for a AAA action game has always been something I’ve wanted to do. I have had the idea for this game for many years, which I have always known was VERY ambitious and would require a great team to make it. Well, I think the stars have aligned! We have an excellent group of founders & leadership, a very experienced and talented dev team and a proven strategic partner in NetEase. All of that combined gives me confidence we will deliver a great game to our players. 🚀 What is your role at T-Minus Zero? I am the Game Director, which means I am the vision holder for the first game we have in development. Ultimately, I am accountable for making sure we deliver an amazing game that provides a fun and enjoyable experience for our players. I am also responsible for creating the new IP for our game. This means I must do a lot of work to communicate the vision in my head to the rest of the team and provide the right amount of high-level guidance to unleash their creativity and talent! 🚀 What is exciting and different here? It’s rare to have the chance to develop a new game along with a new IP in our industry, and I think everyone on our team has embraced this special opportunity. It’s great to be working with some of the most talented folks in our industry on a project we are all passionate about. 🚀 Why should players care about T-Minus Zero? I don’t expect players to care about TM0 just yet because I don’t think they have much to go on. For those that are interested now, I think the message is this: We are working hard to create something that one day, we want you and others to have fun and memorable experiences playing!

  • Meet our founding team—Rich Vogel! Rich is our Studio Head. He previously worked on famous titles such as Ultima Online or Star Wars the Old Republic. 🚀 Why Did you start T-Minus Zero Entertainment? Since our Bethesda Game Studios days, Mark Tucker and I have always wanted to build a new IP. We had to find the right game idea and partner to make our dream come true. We recruited a talented core leadership team and developed a compelling game pitch. The leadership teams at NetEase are excellent strategic partners as they are made up of people who make games and will help us build a fun, engaging player experience. 🚀 What is your role at T-Minus Zero? As the Studio Head, I ensure the team has the resources and time to build a fun and engaging game that players will play for many years. I also play a key role in defining the studio's core values and mission statement, which guide our everyday decisions. I aim to ensure a successful launch and build a vibrant community around our games. 🚀 What is exciting and different here? Building a new IP is one of the most exciting things about starting this studio. A new IP is always risky, so we chose an IP in the public domain as our starting point but have a lot of latitude to make it our own. We are a remote-first studio, and the upside is incredible: We can hire the best talent from anywhere in the world, and this diversity of perspectives and experiences is a huge advantage for us. 🚀 Why should players care about T-Minus Zero? We are building a unique player experience on a new IP that will attract players worldwide who enjoy challenging, cooperative, third-person action.

  • I cannot believe it has been a year since we started T-Minus Zero Entertainment. We finished our ideation gate early this year and are working on our first playable. I am very grateful for the past 12 months, which have been an amazing experience. We are building something very ambitious and unique regarding the player’s experience. I am very grateful to have a partner like NetEase who sees the potential of our game and is willing to take a chance on us. They are very supportive of our ideas and give us freedom and resources without being controlling. Now, we must execute well on our vision. That is easier said than done. Making games is hard, and there is no guarantee of success. But the game shows great potential, and the team is working hard to find the fun. Happy Birthday, T-Minus Zero, and I look forward to our next anniversary. Rich #t-minuszero #gamedevelopment #netease
