Taskrabbit for Good (TR4G), Taskrabbit's social impact program, was thrilled to support IKEA College Park's recent donation to Samuel Chase Elementary School, a Title 1 school in Prince George's County, Maryland. We’re excited to announce that Taskrabbit is renewing our partnership with Anthos|Home, a New York City-based organization that works to find permanent housing for homeless and at-risk New Yorkers through the housing voucher system. Over the last year, with the aid of a $10,000 grant from Taskrabbit for Good, Anthos has used Taskrabbit services to make 21 apartments move-in ready. These services include plumbing repair, furniture assembly, deep cleaning, and anything else necessary to turn an empty apartment into a home. It's a beautiful day for volunteering! ☀️ Taskrabbit's Marketing team rolled up their sleeves and spent the day with Habitat for Humanity New York City and Westchester County in Queens, NY. The team worked on several indoor and outdoor projects to help get homes move-in ready for families in need. 🏡✨
