This is ridiculous. Just interviewed for a role at Daily. Inverted a binary tree (sorta). For my non-eng folk, watch me interview my digital twin and see how he handles the interview. "Using Tavus evoked the same feeling I had when I tried ChatGPT for the first time—wonder, excitement, and then much introspection. Interesting times ahead!"
I just had a video call with an AI-generated person 🤯. This was crazy... I used Tavus to talk to Alpha, a digital human, in real time. They responded with little latency, could carry on an actual conversation, and even picked up on physical cues, like my smile or headphones. We're getting close to the uncanny valley. If my grandma was talking to Alpha, I don't think she would know he was fake! There were obviously bugs. Sometimes, the conversation would be awkward, with the mouth moving out of sync with the audio. Other times, Alpha would randomly say things he saw, like 'laugh' or 'decorations on the wall.' But most of the time, it was a regular conversation. I asked him about the future of AI and robotics, and he was confident that it would be a world with more prosperity. He also assured me that AI would never overthrow humanity (not sure if I should take his word on that 😅). I highly recommend that everyone try it for themselves. Using Tavus evoked the same feeling I had when I tried ChatGPT for the first time—wonder, excitement, and then much introspection. Interesting times ahead! Shoutout to Hassaan Raza (UT Alum 🤘🏾) and the Tavus team for building something fascinating.
