June is National Men’s Health Month! This month serves as a reminder to heighten the awareness of preventable health problems and encourage early detection and treatment of disease among men and boys. Men are less likely than women to see a doctor or report symptoms to a health care provider. While only 60 percent of men go to the doctor for a yearly, routine checkup, 40 percent will not make an appointment until something is seriously wrong. We advocate for change to this narrative by encouraging men to take control of their health and wellness with regular checkups, eating a healthy diet, staying active and managing stress. We support the men in our lives by promoting health awareness and fostering an environment where discussing health concerns is welcomed! As Tenacity’s Director of Solutions Delivery, his mixture of clinical and executive leadership experience brings a unique and valued perspective to Tenacity, which plays a crucial role in leading teams to drive business growth and manage strategic partnerships. A little bit about Kenny: he is passionate about mentoring young men in the community to help them realize a vision for their future, a true servant leader, and loves everything Chicago. Go Sox! When asked what he enjoys most about working at Tenacity, he commented “the family atmosphere, the push for continuous learning and collaboration on ideas and strategy.” Which is a value he embodies as well, having recently obtained his PMP and ITIL4 certifications and working on his AWS Cloud Architect certification.
