Our Houston office employees came together in support of Kids' Meals, Inc. mission of helping end childhood hunger. They packed and decorated 1,500 healthy sack lunches for Kids’ Meals to deliver to the doorsteps of Houstonians in need. Thank you to all the volunteers for stepping up for this great cause. 

Earlier this summer, we enjoyed welcoming neighborhood kids from Foundation Communities to our Mueller office for fun games and a lunch and learn event. We’re grateful to partner with Foundation Communities throughout the year to help create unforgettable memories for kids and build a brighter future for working families. 

We enjoyed supporting D CEO Magazine's annual Nonprofit & Corporate Citizenship Awards this past month where our very own Bill Jackson, regional vice president of our Dallas office, presented during the event. Applications are now open for our workforce development and safety training grants for Texas nonprofits focused on training the workforce, creating pathways for middle-skill jobs, and upskilling and reskilling adult learners. We're excited to be unveiling a new mural at Mueller's Branch Park Pavilion, which is being gifted to the neighborhood in honor of TXM's 30th anniversary. Local artists, Ernesto and Cindy Hernandez, created the mural, titled "Taking Flight," which pays tribute to the plant and animal life native to the Mueller area as well as the thriving spirit of the neighborhood. Our Dallas office employees enjoyed helping students and teachers have a memorable start to the school year by supporting two events earlier this month. They served sweet treats at Rainbow Days, Inc. Back-to-School Celebration, which provides over 1,000 children in need with school supplies. Our volunteers also teamed up with Catch Up & Read to help teachers at Leonides Gonzalez Cigarroa, M.D. Elementary School get their classrooms ready for the new school year.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to give back to veterans by supporting the annual Texas South Plains Honor Flight Golf Tournament. Our Lubbock office employees enjoyed spending time with veterans on the course and lending a helping hand throughout the event. Thank you to the Texas South Plains Honor Flight for all you do to help raise funds for veterans to travel to Washington, D.C. and visit memorials built in honor of their fellow servicemembers.
