Offers scholarships for underprivileged students in grades Pk-12 to attend private schools and receive quality education
About us
The Alumni Initiative is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing access to quality education for underprivileged children in grades Pk-12th. Our mission is to create scholarships that enable these students to attend private schools and receive a quality education they might not otherwise have access to. As former students who also needed financial assistance to attend private school, we understand the barriers that can prevent children from reaching their full potential. By providing scholarships, we aim to empower these children to achieve their academic and personal goals, and ultimately make a positive impact on their communities and the world.

How well do you know our VP, Cierra Adkins? 📓 Favorite Subject? Math (although my career has NOTHING to do with math 😆) 🎓 Favorite Grade? Any time spent in Gesu School! But to be fair, I'll say 8th grade! ✍🏾 Cursive or Print? Cursive! 👩🏾🏫 Chalkboard or Whiteboard? Chalkboard. I'm old fashioned. I didn't like my handwriting on a whiteboard.

In partnership with Black Promoters Collective (BPC), legendary R&B artist Frankie Beverly, concluded his “Farewell Tour” with two performances in Philadelphia. A highlight of the Saturday show was a surprise from the partners at The BPC, who donated $25,000 to #FrankieBeverly’s Scholarship Fund. This organization supports minority students, particularly those aspiring to careers in the music industry, by providing essential financial aid. Source: EURweb
