Job Opening: Part-Time Registrar/Receptionist at The Bart Center for Music About Us The Bart Center for Music is a community music school in Tulsa, Oklahoma offering private and group instruction as well as robust community programming to nurture musicians of every age and skill level. The mission of the bART Center for Music is to contribute to the vitality of community arts in Tulsa through music education for all. The vision is that everyone, regardless of income, race, gender, age or ability has the opportunity to be creative through music. Position Overview We are seeking a dynamic and organized Registrar/Receptionist to join our team. This role is pivotal in ensuring smooth operations at our center by managing student registrations, providing exceptional customer service, and supporting administrative tasks. Key Responsibilities Registration Management: Handle student registrations, enrollments, and scheduling for music lessons, workshops, and programs. Customer Service: Serve as the first point of contact for inquiries via phone, email, and in-person interactions. Provide accurate information about programs, schedules, and registration processes. Administrative Support: Assist with general administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, maintaining student records, and processing payments. Communication: Communicate effectively with students, parents, faculty, and staff to coordinate schedules, resolve issues, and ensure a positive experience for all stakeholders. Event Support: Assist in organizing and supporting events, recitals, and performances hosted by the center. Preferred Qualifications: Ability to work from Previous experience in customer service, reception, or administrative roles preferred. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in basic computer applications (We use Google Suite) Salary and Benefits Position is hourly, generally from 3pm to 8pm.  $15/Hour Opportunities for professional development and growth within the organization. As we bid farewell to Allyson, we are pleased to announce that Shelley Cadamy has stepped in as the interim Executive Director. Shelley and the Board of Directors will be working closely together to ensure a smooth transition and to maintain the momentum of our programs and initiatives.
