    The Davis Property Management team joined up with the Esplanade Association for a day of painting benches along the Charles River. This is the third year that Davis has volunteered on the Esplanade, helping to spruce up the beautiful river-front park for visitors and residents to enjoy. Our group enjoyed the teambuilding, camaraderie and supporting the clean up efforts of one of the most beautiful locations in the city of Boston. This event has become a Property Management team tradition, and they look forward to it year after year.     Davis successfully teamed up with Heading Home for their annual Backpack Buddies drive, providing backpacks for students headed back to school this fall. Heading Home supports over 350 school-aged children who need back-to-school supplies. For many of these children, the cost of school supplies is a significant burden for families experiencing homelessness. We are thankful for our dedicated group of Davis Backpack Buddies who helped make a significant impact on a child's life by providing the tools they need to thrive in the classroom. #HeadingHome #CharitableGiving #CREVolunteer

    We’re pleased to partner with PIDC Construction, LLC who continues to do a phenomenal job keeping our 3rd floor spec suites at 101 Smith Place on track for Q4 delivery. Davis and Invesco US’s latest lab development located at The Quad campus is a LEED Gold structure encompassing 161,000 SF across three floors. It houses specialized lab suites, advanced building systems, efficient HVAC solutions, and premium amenities including a fitness center and bike stations. The building has slab-to-slab heights ranging from 15’ – 18’, generous loading space with covered bays, 100 PSF floor loads and a 5,000 lbs freight elevator capacity.     We're always building! 🏗️ PIDC is serving as the construction manager in a 44,000 SF fit-out of the 3rd floor in the 101 Smith Place building in Cambridge MA. This build-out will be accommodating four new tenants and the spaces will include laboratory space, office space, conference rooms, support areas, and storage areas. Each tenant program will have an approximate 60/40 split ratio of lab space to office space. One of the spec suites already has a tenant signed on! The other 3 suites are still available.     Lunch with Leadership is a regular series for Davis employees to share with their colleagues their backgrounds and how they entered the world of private equity and commercial real estate, while hearing from a senior leader about their own career path and journey that lead them to Davis. Our recent Lunch with Leadership session was led by Cappy Daume, Davis’ Chief Portfolio Management Officer. Cappy shared her unique journey into her 32+ year career in commercial real estate and the diverse experiences that shaped her along the way, from studying Russian literature to playing football and exploring her artistic talents. Cappy emphasized the importance of leaning into one’s intuition, thinking a couple of steps ahead, and the power of good communication.     According to the National Golf Foundation, only 25% of all on-course golfers are women, a number that has steadily been on the rise in a male-dominated sport. Our Davis Women’s Group meets quarterly providing a forum for peer coaching, mentoring, professional development, and social connections in the workplace and we were glad to bring this programming to the golf course this summer. Fourteen Davis women gathered for group lessons on Friday mornings at Granite Links in Quincy, MA with Golf Instructor Pam Kiley. For many, this was their third year with Pam and for others, it was the chance to learn the game of golf for the first time. Our enthusiastic group spent time testing out their clubs, sharpening their skills, improving their golf swing and learning about on course etiquette. Each woman walked away more confident in their golf skills of putting, chipping, and driving while sharing few laughs and encouragement before heading into the office. #DavisWomen #WomenInRealEstate #WomenLeaders
