The Goldie B. Wolfe Miller Women Leaders in Real Estate Initiative (‘The Goldie Initiative®), a nonprofit organization dedicated to preparing women to advance as leaders in commercial real estate by providing financial and professional support, recently announced scholarship winners for the upcoming school year. Since 2007, The Goldie Initiative has created a professional community of women with extraordinary academic and leadership potential, known as Goldie Scholars. With a unique strategy of scholarship, mentoring, networking and leadership skills development, The Goldie Initiative cultivates talented women into future leaders. The program supports women pursuing graduate-level studies in business, law, design, or management, with a focus on real estate.
Pursuing a master's degree in real estate at DePaul University, I'm honored to be part of the 2024-2025 Goldie Scholar Cohort. I look forward to expanding my knowledge, sharing experiences, and learning from peers. The Goldie Initiative's support has exceeded my expectations, further motivating me to reach my objectives. I'm also deeply appreciative of Sterling Bay Property Management for their encouragement and backing in this endeavor.
Through my journey, I aspire to demonstrate to women everywhere that it's never too late to chase your dreams! I’m excited to meet and celebrate all the Goldie Scholars at the 8th annual Goldie Gala, on Thursday, September 19, 2024, at Union Station Chicago. This year’s Shero award winner is Molly McShane, CEO of The McShane Companies.
