Senator Markey's work was vital in support of our acquiring a $53 million dollar USDA rural development loan to bring this vital project to Martha's Vineyard. He shared his joy about our progress here. Two clarifications: "Green Homes" = Green House Project MV Hospital is building 76 units of workforce housing on the site, 30 units of which will be reserved for Navigator Homes workers. Thank you to Senator Markey for taking a moment to speak to us at the end of a long, hot, but inspiring ceremony and kickoff to a great non-profit, skilled nursing care homes serving senior islanders. We can't wait for him to come back to the ribbon cutting in fall 2025!

Had a wonderful visit with the team at the Veterans Home of Wyoming, one of our newest Green House operating partners! We remain grateful to the Wyoming Department of Health for investing in a more dignified model of housing and care for the veterans who call this state home — and we hope more states, along with the federal U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, work to bring options like this to such a vitally important population of elders and people living with disabilities.

What an incredible day in Massachusetts, celebrating the groundbreaking on Navigator Homes of Martha's Vineyard's new Green House community! This project has been a true labor of love and passion for so many outstanding leaders, and when it opens, the elders of Martha's Vineyard will have more dignified and empowering housing options — while caregiving staff also enjoy affordable workforce housing. It was an honor to meet Sen. Edward Markey and share this day with the unstoppable Patricia (Paddy) W. Moore, CEO David McDonough, and the entire team who made this day possible. Of course, none of this would be possible without the leadership of the late Renee Lohman, whose presence was felt throughout the festivities.
