Recently, Project 3027 - Walk Bridge Joint Venture held a rescue drill with the Norwalk Fire Department and Michaels Corporation. This drill was conducted to ensure that the project and the Norwalk Fire Department are prepared in the event there is a need to rescue a team member or an employee of Michaels Corp while performing work inside of the secant pit and tunnel section. The drill took more than two hours and was a success. These drills and our work with local fire rescue will improve our emergency rescue efforts.
